Upon acquiring over 50 years of experience in the merchant ship industry, in 2008 the Palumbo family decided to invest in the 'leisure' yacht market by first creating the Columbus brand and then the Palumbo Superyachts division. Since then, the COLUMBUS Yachts brand - that gained global identity with the 2011 launch of its first 54 metre superyacht emblematically christened “Prima” has steadily strengthened and increased customer confidence.
Today the brand boasts collaborations with internationally renowned designers and offers four lines (Atlantique, Crossover, Sport and Classic) in addition to the opportunity of building fully custom vessels. Being part of Palumbo Superyachts, COLUMBUS can guarantee customer services and facilities throughout the Mediterranean (Ancona, Malta, Marseille, Naples and Savona) as well as a service point in Central America and the Caribbean.
